IMPORTANT NOTE – TOURS DEPARTING BEFORE 19 JULY 2021: In light of the announcement by the UK Government of the delay in lifting restrictions, we are in the process of assessing whether or not your tour can go ahead. We will contact you with the details as soon as possible. Your patience in awaiting our call is very much appreciated.

A message from the CEO, Jackie Willis

To all our valued customers

The UK government’s ‘roadmap’ details key dates in the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. We can already look forward to travel around the UK in the very near future, and we expect to hear of more and more countries ‘reopening’ to UK visitors with every government update. We already have our first list of ‘green’ countries, and we expect the majority of European nations to join this list in a couple of weeks’ time. The rapid progress in vaccinations is giving many of us the confidence to travel as soon as possible and, if you choose an Andante Travels tour, you’ll have the extra confidence of knowing that our industry-leading 11-point COVID action plan will stay in place throughout 2021. Rest assured that if a COVID test is still a requirement in order to return to the UK, we will arrange this for you on tour. And we are here to help advise on the UK Government’s ‘traffic light’ system, pre-tour testing/certification and any applicable quarantine guidelines.

We are making plans to operate UK tours from 19 July 2021 and even before if can be done safely and legally within current restrictions. We will be guided by UK Government advice on overseas tours, but intend to start operating as soon as it is permitted to do so. Whilst it may still become necessary to cancel a tour departing after this date as a result of (1) subsequent changes to the UK Government advice or local restrictions in the destination, (2) our suppliers are not in a position to put our COVID action plan in place, or (3) voluntary transfers result in unviable guest numbers on the tour, we anticipate an extensive programme of tours in summer, autumn and winter 2021. If your tour is cancelled for one of these three reasons, we are committed to providing the most convenient alternative arrangements, matching prices where possible.

For any questions you may have around travelling with us after July 19th, we have a selection of dedicated FAQs that should provide answers and you can find them by clicking here.

Good health and happy travels from all of us here at Andante.
